    October 7, 2018 - Auto Accident with Ejection and Entrapment on Germanna Hwy/Ellis Rd

    RVFD&RS was dispatched at 0352 on Sunday, Oct 7th, for an auto accident with ejection and entrapment on Germanna Hwy/Ellis Rd. Vehicle had rolled over multiple times landing on its passenger side. Full airbag deployment. Two critical patients were found on scene. One had been ejected and the other still entrapped in the vehicle. Medic 6-2, Response 6, Wagon 6, Rescue Engine 2, Medic 12-2 responded to the scene. Air flights were grounded due to fog.     RVFDRS was dispatched at 0206 on 4/15/19 for a fire in a house. Dispatch stated there might be a person in the house. Engine 6, Tanker 6, Medic 6-2 and Response 6 arrived on scene and were assisted by Engine 29, Tanker 29, Engine 1, Engine 2, Tanker 2 and Medic 12. The house was unoccupied.     April 1, 2019 - Brush Fire on Kellam Lane, Richardsville, VA

    RVFDRS was dispatched for an outside fire near a structure. Brush 6, Tanker 6, Engine 6 and Medic 6-1 responded. Home owner was burning leaves and the fire spread too quickly. Brush 6 and Tanker 6 quickly extinguished the fire and the home was safe. ...

    February 10, 2019 - Airplane Crash near 25000 block of Germanna Hwy

    RVFDRS was dispatched for an airplane crash near the 25000 block of Germanna Hwy. Little Fork Technical Animal Rescue was returning from a call in Spotsylvania and were only a few miles away when the call came over the radio. They responded and did an initial scene size-up. Chief 6-1 arrived and took command. Medic 6-1 and Wagon 6 responded. All three occupants are alive with no life threatening injuries because of the steady hand and calmness of the pilot instructor.
